For educators, the congressional debate about immigration reform boils down to one overriding concern: providing a future to hardworking students for whom America is the only home they have ever known.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has begun “marking up” the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013 (S. 744), the comprehensive immigration reform bill from the bipartisan Gang of Eight.
