LG_socjus_LGBTQ_201aLGTBQ students are more likely to face bullying and harassment in school leading to poor grades, dropping out of school and even homelessness. LGBTQ students at the college level also report feeling unsafe and unwelcome.

All students and educators deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Safe and affirming schools are a core element of student success.
