Every one of us—no matter where we’re from, what we look like, or how much money our families have—deserves the opportunity to obtain a higher education that allows us to seek a brighter future and take care of ourselves and our families.  But for too long, policymakers have rigged the higher education system for the wealthy and used color-coded obstacles to deny us the additional education we need to foster our passion and potential.  Regardless of how hard we work or how big we dream, when certain politicians prioritize big banks and donors over our futures, they deny our ability to learn, grow and thrive.  So we coming together —students, educators, parents, and policymakers– like we’ve done in the past, to guarantee the promise of higher education  and the ability to make a better future.  Cancelling student debt will make our lives better and will make this is a country where everyone can prosper – no exceptions.
